Project Highlights

China
SEEDS Foundation has provided 5,000 RMB ($732 US Dollar) to a Miao lady in Wenshan, Yunnan, China to open a fashion store. It also supports and enable the platation of 3,900 banana trees in Meng Hai Region, Yunnan, to enhance the economic and local trade opportunities for the poor families and disadvantaged ethnics with the contractual support of the Han enterprises. Additional banana trees are to be planted in Southern Yunnan in the near future.
Thailand
SEEDS Foundation provided 80,000 bahts ($2398 US Dollar) for leadership development in Pong Nok Village. In addition, it provided 5,000 bahts ($150 US Dollar) to help the Hmong Higher Education Students Assocation in Chaing Mai, Thailand.

Royal Tree Plantation Project:

At present, SEEDS Foundation is engaged in a Royal Tree Plantation Project in the Hmong Villages of Pong Nok East and Pong Nok West, Chiang Rai Province.
Laos
SEEDS Foundation has provided financial support of 20 million kips ($2353 US Dollar) for six Hmong girls at Phonsavanh to study English and go back to secondary schools. They have dropped out due to lack of financial support from the parents because of poverty. Read more.

Royal Tree Project, Thailand

SEEDS is engaged in a Royal Tree Plantation Project in the Hmong villages of Pong Nok East and Pong Nok West. The project is to promote the "Long Life" for His Excellency the King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and His Royal Family.
